About the Course:
Design a new app for your smart device. Learn coding skills using an MIT app inventor and presentation skills to market your new app.

Expected Outcomes:
Participants will:

  • Learn to use basic coding to design an app and utilize entrepreneurial practices to simulate marketing this app commercially.

This course is open to all youth in grades 6 – 12. We look forward to learning with all genders whether you are currently a Scout or not!

About the Instructors: Jennifer Fountain and Sam Hotchkiss
Our instructors are subject-matter experts either through their profession or hobby-related experiences, and are trained in the BSA Youth Protection training that includes safety measures online.
