The David and Marjorie Rosenberg Family Foundation gives children the chance to dream.
The David and Marjorie Rosenberg Family Foundation has joined the Satell Institute Collective Force as a founding member by making a four-year commitment to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). CHOP, the nation’s first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children, is responsible for countless breakthroughs and dramatic firsts in pediatric medicine. CHOP is world-renowned as one of the top children’s hospitals across the globe.
One of the David and Marjorie Rosenberg Family Foundation’s first efforts was supporting CHOP’s Reach Out and Read Program by making a reading room at the hospital a reality. The Reach Out and Read Program sets children up for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. The books that the program provides gives the children staying at CHOP the chance to take their mind off their current situation and dream that they are part of the story. The gift from the David and Marjorie Rosenberg Foundation is making a difference. Earlier this year, Reach Out and Read gave away its 1 millionth book in the community.
DAVID ROSENBERG

Being hands on and seeing my dollars at work is far more rewarding than just writing a check. Seeing the smiles on kids’ faces when I am reading to them in the waiting room at Children’s Hospital gives me a profound sense of satisfaction.
