Mark and Paula Solomon have joined the Satell Institute Collective Force by making a four-year commitment to Gesu School. Gesu School, located in one of Philadelphia’s most marginalized neighborhoods, is rooted in the Jesuit and Immaculate Mary Heart traditions. Gesu emphasizes academic excellence, character formation, religious faith, and leadership motivation to develop “young women and men for others.”
Mr. and Mrs. Solomon have long been involved with Gesu School. Mark Solomon was the first recipient of the Gesu Spirit Medal in recognition for his extensive work and generosity. Mr. Solomon is so devoted to children at risk that he adopted one of the children from Gesu School who was growing up in tough conditions. Although only one Gesu School student is a family member, Mr. and Mrs. Solomon treat each and every child at Gesu as if they were their own.
