The Satell Institute was honored to be featured in a recently taped segment of Our Region’s Business, hosted by Bill Flanagan and produced by the Allegheny Conference on Economic Development. The segment — set to air on November 23rd — was made possible by the Institute’s growing presence and momentum in the Pittsburgh region, where more and more corporate leaders are embracing Satell’s model of long-term, strategic commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
The discussion brought together three leaders dedicated to strengthening community impact across Southwestern Pennsylvania:
• Lisa Schroeder, CEO of The Pittsburgh Foundation
• Andy Mecs, CEO of Chicken of the Sea
• Jason Riley, Market Leader, Satell Institute – Pittsburgh
The conversation served as a follow-up to the recent Corporate Community Conversation, co-hosted with The Pittsburgh Foundation, which provided corporate leaders with timely insights into the challenges facing the nonprofit sector. On Our Region’s Business, the dialogue moved deeper —exploring how corporations can respond with purpose and partnership.
Throughout the segment, one theme was clear: Satell Institute members are already leading the way in Corporate Social Responsibility. Their sustained commitments, thoughtful community partnerships, and active engagement continue to set the bar for CSR excellence in our region.
The opportunity to appear on Our Region’s Business reflects not only the strength of the Institute’s mission, but also the growing recognition of Satell’s impact as our membership and regional footprint expand in Pittsburgh.
