Governor Jeb Bush

Jeb Bush is the 43rd governor of Florida and served two terms from 1999 to 2007. Governor Bush maintains his passion for improving the quality of education for students across the country by serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ExcelinEd.

Governor Bush earned his bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as a Presidential Professor of Practice at University of Pennsylvania, a visiting professor and fellow at Harvard University as well as an executive professor at Texas A&M University. He has also been awarded several honorary doctorates from collegiate institutions across the country.

Malik Brown is a seasoned leader with a unique portfolio of cross-sector experiences. At Graduate Philadelphia, Brown is responsible for developing strategic, cross-sector relationships (business, government, higher education, and nonprofit) in order to advance the mission of adult degree attainment, workforce readiness, and inclusive economic development. In his previous role as Associate Vice President of Workforce Solutions & Community Impact for Peirce College, Brown was responsible for building workforce development solutions and driving community impact.

Susanne Svizeny, Executive Vice President and MidAtlantic Regional President, OceanFirst Bank

Susanne Svizeny joined OceanFirst in 2019 and was promoted to her current position in 2022. She is committed to delivering full-service banking solutions and providing customized banking services, including commercial financing, to businesses with revenues from $5 million to $250 million. Prior to joining OceanFirst Bank, Svizeny worked for Wells Fargo, N.A., where she founded the Women’s Market Growth Strategy for Middle Market Banking and was appointed to lead the Middle Market Banking Diversity and Inclusion Council.
