Learn ways to prepare for and help during life's most common emergencies.

About the Course:
There are emergencies that happen around us more often than we care to realize, and we often aren’t prepared to help when needed. This course will walk through different ways to be prepared for emergencies and teach ways to help those in need.

Expected Outcomes:

Participants will:

  • Be prepared to help when an emergency happens how to help adults to fix simple repairs around your home

Scouts will complete the following requirements for the Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge: 2ab,3,4,6,8a,9 

This course is open to all youth in grades 9 – 12. We look forward to learning with all genders whether you are currently a Scout or not!

About the Cradle of Liberty Council BSA:
Teaching leadership & values while providing recreational activities for children of all ages, the Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of serves more than 16,500 young people in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Delaware counties. About the Instructors:
Our instructors are subject-matter experts either through their profession or hobby-related experiences, and are trained in the BSA Youth Protection training that includes safety measures online.
