The Stan and Arlene Ginsburg Family Great Debate Series – granting access to some of the world’s biggest and brightest minds.
The Stan & Arlene Ginsburg Family Foundation has joined the Satell Institute Collective Force by making a four-year pledge to the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia. The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia makes it possible to be in the same room with national and global leaders many Philadelphians normally only see on television or read about. The Council’s Speaker Events program gives Philadelphians a low-cost opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the most critical issues of the day in an intimate personal setting with the people who are shaping the world.
As part of its Speaker Events, the Council has included the Stan and Arlene Ginsburg Family Great Debate Series. The Series provides a forum for audiences to decide for themselves “the whole truth,” which aligns with the Council’s and the Ginsburgs’ aim of informing and engaging people of all ages on matters of national and international significance.

We hosted debates before, but it was not institutionalized. Now that we have reliable long-term funding, we can schedule several Great Debates a year that explore the most pressing and vexing public policy questions facing our nation and the world.
