Beyond the Game — How Sport Builds Community Capital
March 19th, 2026 | 8:00am-11:30am | Jackie Robinson Museum | New York, NY
New York builds stronger communities when leaders put the power of sport to work — not just as entertainment, but as a platform for education, workforce pipelines, and neighborhood strength. When CEOs put their elbows down, compare what works, and back it with resources, purpose turns into measurable outcomes. We believe Community Is Every Leader’s Business™.
On March 19th, a curated group of 74 CEOs, top business leaders, and entrepreneurs will convene at the Jackie Robinson Museum for a morning of candid, high-impact conversations on how strategic community investment — through sport — fuels economic growth and strengthens the fabric of the NYC Metro region.
Keynote: Wanda Durant, philanthropist and mother of NBA legend Kevin Durant, on belief, persistence, and partnership via the Durant Family Foundation.
A single, integrated partnership dialogue will bring NYCFC, the Jackie Robinson Foundation, a private foundation, and New York SCORES to the stage to unpack replicable models that move the needle. Roundtables run under the Chatham House Rule so leaders can challenge assumptions, share playbooks, and leave with next steps.
Seats are limited and registration will close as soon as we fill the room. By invitation only; invitations are non-transferable. Contact Paul Howard.
